Expoint's business development consulting role offers a unique combination of marketing, sales, and business operations knowledge for tech industry professionals. This role contributes to their company's bottom line by improving their internal and external relationships, growing the business and increasing their bottom line. The business development consultant works closely with the business's executives and operations teams to improve their current external relationships, such as partners, vendors, and potential customers. They will develop business strategies to attract new and existing partners, improve vendor performance and increase customer satisfaction. They must be able to apply technological advancements to increase revenues and market share and create strategies to develop and market new products quickly. The consultant must possess a strong understanding of business principles, financial fundamentals and industry trends, including digital technology and social media. They should also be comfortable with negotiating and working with contracts and collaborating with the legal and finance teams. An excellent understanding the latest technological developments is also a must. In this role, the business development consultant must have excellent communication skills to present well both on an individual and group level. They must be a creative, analytical thinker with the ability to keep up with the latest technology and trends in the tech industry. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter with a professional attitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
